If you are a WordPress blogger, then you can integrate Bitly URL’s right into your blog posts, and fairly simple too.
While WordPress has a service that shortens your URL’s, which I think may be integrated with Jetpack. It does not give you the additional options that a service like Bit.ly does.
The other thing is that Bit.ly is one of the services that can be used and is compatible with several other platforms and WordPress plugins.

How to Integrate Bitly URL Shortener with Your WordPress Blog
- Login to your wordpress dashboard and install the WP Bitly plugin.
- Activate the plugin.
- Go to Bitly.com and create an account or login to your current account.
- Set Up an OAUTH authorization key for WordPress.
- Copy and Paste the OAUTH key.
- Go to the settings of the WP Bitly plugin and paste the key in the required area.
- Save changes.
These are the steps to configure the settings for the integration.
