Did you know that you could use your self hosted email with Gmail?
If you have a website or blog then you more than likely have an email address with your domain that coincides with your site. For me, it is Kenya@IamKenyaRae.com. The domain matches my website domain.
If you are like me, then you also have a gmail account. Because let’s be honest Gmail is easier to use and have access to regularly. So I also have IamKenyaRae@gmail.com, which I only use for the blog as well.
If you are using anything other than Gmail for your email such as Hotmail, Yahoo, or AOL, I have to ask why?
These days it is near impossible to not have a Gmail account, especially if you use Chrome or Youtube.
What I have found is that many of my blog friends have an email address they don’t use because they don’t want to have to wait until they are at their computer to check their email, or pay to have a business account through google.
I get it. These coins are tight and we have to be selective where we shell them out.
But for years, I have been using my domain email to send and receive messages right inside of Gmail. Which also allows me to to fully utilize the features of Gmail from my domain account. Like my cool interactive signature at the end of my messages.
Using your domain email is also looked at as more professional and shows that you take your business/blog serious, so I have heard.
I know you are like, “well get to it Kenya, how do we do this???”
No worries homie, I GOT YOU!
