If you are a blogger or small business owner then you know the phrase “brand image” is all the buzz right now. And when people say things like “you have to build a cohesive brand image”, it can make you want to crawl right under a rock.
Everyone wants you to stand out in a sea of saturation.
And I am sure you want to put your best foot forward out here in these interwebs too, right?
So in that context trying to build a cohesive brand image is really no different than in real life right?
Remember in grade school and even into junior high school when everyone all had the same tennis shoes? outfits? or whatever the latest thing was; everyone had to cop it right.
Then around high school everyone starts to want to stand out and be different and to not fit in the crowd.
Oh boy, in college, people totally reinvent themselves. You get outta your momma house. Buy what you want. Wear what you want. And you essentially become your own brand.
Same thing is true for us online bloggers, marketers and business owners. We are all finding our style and adding our own flare.
But one of the most common things I hear people talk about is not having the technical skillset to maneuver in programs like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, In Design etc.
I have good news….
You don’t have to!
You don’t have to be a design pro in order to build a cohesive brand image!
Heard of canva? Sure you have! And if you haven’t…. friend meet canva, canva meet my friend.
Canva is a free graphic design tool that allows you to created amazing graphics using a drag and drop online interface.
When I first started using canva some years back, it was NOT all that it is today. Trust me when I say it has come a loooong way. So much so that I barely touch photoshop anymore lately.
That’s right, if you are using photoshop cause you think it has all the things you need and does all the things you need to do, you may want to visit Canva too!
But if you are technically challenged, you may still be thinking, “Kenya I don’t care how easy it is. My stuff always looks all goofy, and unpolished. I still need help!”
Again, I have news for you my friend. I GOT YOU!
There are several services out there that you can subscribe and gain access allowing you to create your own updated graphics and whatnot. Canva included. But canva does also offer a free option. And who doesn’t love free??
But this is where all of you non-techie folks are gonna love me. Cause you may have thought this was all about Canva. Surprise! It is not.
What if I told you that you can pay one time and get some downloadable templates and step your blog image game ALL THE WAY UP!
Now before I tell you how you can do this, I wanna tell you that what I am sharing does have an affiliate link. It does not affect your price, experience or quality of service. It just means I get a commission as a thank you gift from the owner. Wanna know more about how that works? You can read my full disclosure here.
Ok, so here is what you really wanna know…
Looking for sales pages too? They can help you to start to convert your readers to followers, and followers to customers with their easy to use LeadPages alternative templates.
Who doesn’t want that?
I do. And I know you do too!!!
So head over and check it out and get your new look together.
Didn’t I tell you this brand image stuff wasn’t so bad?
