Have you ever set out to do something and felt like the cards were stacked against you before you even began?
Did you make excuses as to why it wouldn’t work, or go in with the attitude that you are doing it only to prove wrong others who tried to encourage and tell you that “you can do it”?
As you progress in the goal, you want to believe, you want to fight you want to achieve but at the same time the burden feels heavier and heavier and you think it might be best to just give up?
Well, I don’t know if you have done this a time or two in your life, but I certainly have. I have discouraged myself from doing something with reasons why I can’t, why it won’t work, and why it could never happen before I even hear “go!”. Only to get started and feel like I was warranted and right in my feelings because it seems harder than it should be.
I truly think that this is because we have let our thoughts convince us and thus affect our actions. Our mind feels defeated before the race even begins because we have set our self up for a hard time with our thoughts.
It it said that whether you think you can or you cant, you are right? And I believe this to be true.
So think thoughts of positivity, affirmation, and encouragement upon yourself so that your mind will follow you. You’d be amazed the difference your attitude and outlook makes!
What could you overcome today if you would just make your mind up and change your thoughts?
