The Wolf, in Raleigh, is not to be feared. But rather a source of excitement and joy!
Finding things to do with my kids that we can all enjoy can be hard because I have children in all age groups. So when I find things that will work excited is an understatement for what I feel.
A few weeks ago, I found out about a play coming to the Raleigh area, good for the whole family.
The Wolf is Theatre Raleigh’s compilation of Three Little Pigs, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and Little Red Riding Hood. And really, who doesn’t love every single one of those? The only one missing is Goldilocks, which in case you hadn’t noticed doesn’t include the one thing the others have in common – The Wolf! These are all stories that children of all generations know and love.
Which consequently means their parents, who were once children, do too!
I was super excited to take the whole family, but as always schedules collide. So it looks like me and my oldest will have a mommy-daughter date, which she will love. Allowing us to get out the house without the boys.
They’ll be busy doing boys stuff at tee ball practice. You know playing with dirt, and balls, and making noise – which they love to do!
The mission of Theatre Raleigh is to create work with an artistic scope that includes musical theatre, drama, comedy, concerts, theatre for young audiences, as well as the development of new theatrical projects.
Known for producing critically-acclaimed Summer Series featuring plays and musicals, family series exhibiting of one of a kind adaptations and original works to include song and dance and a concert series showcasing a wide variety of local artists. Operating with the goal of providing audiences with diverse programming in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
New to the area, but I finally feeling like we are getting settled in.
I am so excited to have the opportunity to check out what our new city has to offer. So much so that I’d love for you to have a chance to do the same. If you are in the Raleigh-Durham area you can get tickets too.
I have partnered with Golden Relations to offer you the chance to win a family four-pack of tickets for you and your family to check out The Wolf opening weekend!
